  1. I’m not sure bud. I’m still paying for the app and still a have all the original games on cassette/disk…probably.

  2. Cheers for that shoutout 🙂 Your right about the time taken to put this lot together but its well worth it to play the classics on my devices. I currently have both an Iphone 5 and and Ipad 2. I just wish the developers would update the app to proper Ipad support. They need to take a leaf out of Spectaculators book. That emu looks the biz on my iPad. Anyways I`m chuffed you appreciate the upload – just sharing the wealth 🙂

  3. Yeah Spectaculator does look nice on the pad, but for me I’m just happy that they both support the iCade and more importantly the 8 Bitty controller.

I look forward to sifting through this lot later on.

    Thanks again bud.

    Kind regards

  4. Great post and link, much appreciated, some classics in there 😉

Is there by chance anything like this upload for the Spectrum? would be great if there was?

    Cheers guys

  5. Hehe, you caught me at my PC!

All thanks must go to Niknice for these – who shall now be called Niknice the Awesome. So say we all 🙂

    Kind regards

  6. agreed!

one thing I seem to have copied all the files into Spectaculator-library-private documents-game data.

however my Ipad does not seem to show them in the app when running?

Any ideas Oh wise one ?

    cheers

  7. Drop them here instead (you may need to purchase one game first)

    Spectaculator/Library/PrivateDocuments/Purchased Games

Don’t forget to reboot the app after importing the games as they won’t show until you do so.

    Regards

  8. There’s some good stuff in the Spectaculator download. My personal fave being Pacman arcade. Be amazed at the ZX Spectrum emulating Pacman arcade rom. Simply an awesome piece if coding 🙂

  9. Guys just want to say a big thank you for all your efforts.

Stiggy love the blog, look forward to the updates dropping in my inbox 😉

    Cheers

  10. It’s a great collection alright and one to get you started. How about having a go yourself, it’s rather fun seeing the results pop up on the screen.

    Kind regards

  11. Great Job. Thanks for this pack… really saves hours of time. Here are some more, from the guys over at superlevel.de. http://superlevel.de/spiele/c64-spiele-fuers-iphone/

Btw. anyone here who is good at coding/scripting something like a small GUI where you select the file to load on the .d64 image, scrape the data from gamebase64 (Author, Releasedate, Cover, ect), gives you some options on the settings and the output would be a usable folder fot the C64 on iOS? Would make all our lives much easier. 😉

  12. Top man, thanks ever so much DaNDeEm it’s nice to see a few more added to the collection (thumbs up for Wonderboy).

Sadly my coding skills aren’t up to much to create some sort of app to help prep the files etc but you never know, there might be someone out there?

I really ought to crack on and add more to my dropbox account so bear with me as I work through a load more.

    Thanks again

    Regards
